What We Process

GifCompressor processes the GIF file you submit, the compression settings you select, and technical request data needed to operate and protect the service.

File Handling

Your source GIF is sent to our compression service, processed in isolation, and removed when the request finishes. The compressed result is stored so its result link remains available. We store that link and related metadata, such as file size, compression preset, and creation time.

Result links are not intended for confidential content. Do not upload GIFs containing sensitive, private, unlawful, or third-party material that you are not authorized to process.

Technical Data

Our infrastructure may process IP addresses, request headers, browser information, timestamps, and diagnostic logs for security, rate limiting, reliability, and troubleshooting. Cloudflare may process network and storage data as part of providing hosting, CDN, and related services.

Cookies and Accounts

The core GIF compression workflow does not require an account. The site may use essential cookies or local storage for language, security, and interface preferences. If account features are enabled later, this policy will be updated before those features are used to collect additional personal information.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers that help us run the service, or disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect users, the service, or our rights.

Security and Retention

We use encrypted transport and access controls, but no Internet service can guarantee absolute security. Compressed results and their metadata may remain stored until they are deleted as part of service maintenance, an abuse response, or a valid deletion request.

Your Choices

You can avoid persistent storage by not submitting a file. For questions or a request concerning a stored result, contact us through the contact method published on the website and include the result URL.
